What is a WordCamp?
A WordCamp is a conference that focuses on everything WordPress.
WordCamps are informal, community-organized events that are put together by WordPress users like you. Everyone from casual users to core developers participate, share ideas, and get to know each other.
Each year, lots of WordCamps are being organized around the globe, check central.wordcamp.org to see the current planning of all WordCamps globally.
What can I do at WordCamp Antwerp?
WordCamp Antwerp features two conference days packed with talks about WordPress and everything WordPress related in the broad web ecosystem. Indulge in the sessions you pick and get inspired. Or hangout in the Hallway Track to have discussions, find answers or just relax.
On contributor evening (Fri) you can learn how to work on WordPress, how to contribute to the project. On Sunday, you’ll have all the time in the world to get to know your fellow-attendees without the rush of a schedule or be hindered by laptops.
What if I have never been to a WordCamp before?
No worries, a WordCamp always has a nice open atmosphere. If you’re interested, or just curious: get your ticket and just show up and indulge.
Whenever you have a question or whenever you’re lost: there’s always a volunteer or a fellow-attendee to help you out and guide you around.
What if I have been to a WordCamp before?
Come to another one! No two WordCamp experiences are the same. Even in the same city, you always have different speakers, sponsors, new topics, up-to-date discussions and you can both run into former co-attendees and meet new peers.
Whether you’re attending your first WordCamp or your 100th, you’re bound to have fun, learn a lot, get inspired and widen your circle of WordPress friends.
